Grid & Power Strategy:

IEP Advisory’s experience includes the development and delivery of large-scale private wire renewable energy infrastructure supplying major industrial energy users. This work has involved modelling the embedded energy cost savings available to industrial consumers from onsite and privately connected renewable generation, supporting the commercial case for direct power supply arrangements. Projects have included the development and construction of solar PV assets with capital investment in excess of £50 million, delivered under tight regulatory timelines to secure accreditation under the UK’s Renewables Obligation regime regulated by Ofgem. Our experience also includes managing construction delivery and overseeing the long-term operation and maintenance of solar assets supplying industrial customers via private wire infrastructure.
